About Royal Mail
Royal Mail uses the international UPU format for tracked and signed-for items, where the final two letters are the country of origin. Items sent to Cyprus or elsewhere in Europe are handed to the destination postal operator on arrival, and tracking continues under the same number.
Worth knowing: Royal Mail scans far less often than express carriers — frequently only at acceptance and delivery. A long silence in between is normal rather than a sign of a problem.
